Pakistan has rejected the misleading statement issued by the Afghan spokesperson. According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Taliban spokesperson distorted facts regarding the Istanbul talks.
Pakistan demanded the arrest of terrorists operating from Afghan soil and, in response to the Afghan side’s claim, immediately offered to take custody of the suspects.
The Ministry stated that false narratives against Pakistan are unacceptable, adding that Pakistan’s stance remains clear, consistent, and well-documented.
The Afghan side’s false claims contradict the facts, the statement said, emphasizing that the handover of terrorists is only possible through designated border entry points.
The Ministry of Information also termed any contradictory statements as baseless and misleading, asserting that Pakistan’s position is being deliberately misrepresented.
