New York: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly today.

According to international media reports, Arab and Muslim countries have decided to boycott Netanyahu’s speech in protest. Delegates from these countries are expected to walk out of the assembly hall during his address.

The boycott comes in response to Netanyahu’s previous remarks about the “Greater Israel” plan, which has been widely condemned by leaders of Muslim nations as a threat to the security and stability of Arab countries and the broader region.

Today’s General Assembly proceedings include two sessions, with 15 speakers scheduled in the first session and 10 in the second.

In the first session, immediately after the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech, the second speaker will be Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. On the occasion of the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s speech, all Muslim and Arab leaders will return to the General Assembly.

The third speaker will be Chinese Premier Li Qiang, and it is certain that a large number of Muslim and Arab leaders, including those from Pakistan, will be present in the General Assembly to listen to his speech. Additionally, the address by Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus will also take place today.
