Gaza: Entire families are being “wiped out” as Israel escalates its bombardment of residential areas in Gaza City and makeshift encampments across the Gaza Strip.

Since dawn on Thursday, at least 28 Palestinians have been killed in the ongoing attacks, according to local sources.

Hamas has expressed readiness to establish an independent national administration to govern Gaza. The group has also called for a comprehensive truce deal that includes the release of all Israeli captives held by Hamas.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office swiftly rejected Hamas’s statement, emphasizing that “the war can end immediately” only if conditions set by his cabinet are met.

Meanwhile, Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has unveiled a controversial plan to annex nearly all of the occupied West Bank. Smotrich has urged Netanyahu to endorse the proposal, signaling a potential major shift in Israeli policy amid the ongoing conflict.

Palestinian officials report that Israeli forces have accelerated the destruction of Gaza City, as part of a broader plan to seize control of the region and forcibly displace over one million Palestinians.

Since the start of the war in October 2023, the number of Palestinians martyred has reached 63,746, while the number of wounded has soared to 161,245, as reported by international news agencies.

More than 11,100 Palestinians are currently imprisoned in Israeli jails, including 400 children and 49 women. Human rights organizations have strongly condemned Israeli policies, declaring them a clear violation of international law.

UAE Foreign Ministry Issued Warning to Israel:

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong warning to Israel, declaring the settlement expansion plan a “red line”. The UAE emphasized that the annexation of the occupied West Bank would undermine the Abraham Accords.

In a statement, the UAE government reiterated its long-standing support for the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people for an independent state. “Our position was the same in 2020 and remains unchanged today,” said the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
