India’s attacks in Bahawalpur: One child martyred, Pakistan Air Force gives a befitting reply

In a sudden and unprovoked act of aggression, India launched air-to-ground missiles in the middle of the night, targeting three Pakistani cities—Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad. The strikes resulted in the martyrdom of a child and injuries to a woman and a man, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Labeling the attack as cowardly, the ISPR confirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces responded immediately, with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) scrambling jets that patrolled the skies, preventing any heavy Indian aircraft from breaching Pakistani airspace.

Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of ISPR, stated that Pakistan would deliver a “befitting response” at a time and place of its choosing. “India’s temporary joy will soon turn to sorrow,” he warned, adding that retaliation would come from land, air, and sea.

Following the strikes, citizens poured onto the streets of the affected cities, chanting “Allahu Akbar” and “Pakistan Zindabad,” showcasing unity and resilience in the face of aggression.

Security sources later confirmed that a retaliatory operation by Pakistan has been initiated. A location identified as the Subhan Allah Mosque in Bahawalpur was reportedly struck, although further details remain undisclosed.

Tensions remain high as the nation braces for further developments.
