Gajraj Rao took to Instagram to share his experience of watching “Kesari Chapter 2” in theaters. He wrote that the theater was about 70 percent occupied and expressed how amazing it felt to enjoy the film in a packed cinema.
The “Dupahiya” actor praised the film, highlighting its “extraordinary screenplay packed with sharp, powerful dialogues.” He also appreciated the cinematography, production design, editing, music, and other elements of the film.

Meanwhile, Karan Singh Tyagi directed “Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh”, featuring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday in pivotal roles. Although it is not a direct sequel, the film serves as a spiritual successor to “Kesari”.
The film was released in theaters on April 18, 2025, and shifts the story from the battlefield to the courtroom, focusing on the legal battle that followed the 1919 massacre.
