ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has initiated Cybersecurity Awareness Week 2024, which will run from December 9 to December 15.
The week-long campaign aims to enhance awareness about digital safety among individuals and consumers, with a focus on online security, data privacy, and the legal framework provided by the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.
During the event, PTA will organize expert-led discussions to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to safeguard themselves and their organizations from evolving cyber threats.
To promote widespread participation, PTA has encouraged citizens, businesses, and educational institutions to engage by following its social media platforms, sharing related content, and contributing to a secure digital ecosystem in Pakistan.
This initiative reflects PTA’s commitment to strengthening the country’s cybersecurity landscape and raising awareness about safe practices in the digital domain.
