Google Calendar on Android is introducing a new update to simplify task management for users. Previously available only on the web version, the new feature enables Android users to view a full-screen list of all tasks, including those without due dates.
This change brings the mobile app closer to the web experience, offering a more seamless approach to managing task lists.
A Task icon has been added to the app’s top-right corner, positioned between the profile picture and the “Today” button. By tapping this icon, users can access the Google Tasks interface to review their to-dos and mark tasks as complete when finished.
The update is currently rolling out to Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google account users. While Android users can enjoy the new features now, there is no confirmation on when the update will extend to iOS devices.
This addition aligns with Google’s ongoing efforts to improve productivity tools across its platforms.
