Apple fans have a new reason to be excited: the iPhone SE 4 might arrive in March 2025. A recent report hints that the production timeline for its camera components aligns with an early spring release.

According to a report by Korean outlet Ajunews, LG Innotek is set to begin mass production of the iPhone SE 4’s camera components in December. Historically, Apple’s suppliers ramp up production three months before a product launch.

This aligns with predictions for a March debut, similar to previous SE models, which launched in March or April.

iPhone SE 4 Features to Expect

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a larger 6.1-inch display, a notable upgrade from the 4.7-inch screen of its predecessor. For the first time, it is anticipated to come with an OLED display panel.

The device will reportedly replace the Lightning port with a USB-C port and introduce Face ID, phasing out the Touch ID Home button seen in earlier models. Additionally, it is expected to sport a single 48MP rear camera, offering sharper image quality.

To enhance performance, the iPhone SE 4 is likely to include 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and the advanced A18 chipset, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 series.

Apple’s first in-house 5G modem is also anticipated to debut with the iPhone SE 4, marking a shift from the Qualcomm modems used in the current iPhone 16 lineup. Notably, Apple has extended its 5G modem agreement with Qualcomm until 2026.

Despite these significant upgrades, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced under $500, offering advanced features at an affordable cost.
