Apple is preparing to upgrade the Vision Pro 2 by replacing the current M2 chip with the upcoming M5 chip. The second-generation Apple Vision Pro is expected to launch between fall 2025 and spring 2026.
Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable source, revealed last week that Apple has postponed plans for a more affordable Vision headset and is focusing on the release of the Vision Pro 2 next year.
The new version of the Vision Pro is anticipated to offer an enhanced immersive experience, powered by the M5 chip, which will be introduced alongside the first Macs featuring the M5.
While the second-generation Vision Pro will likely retain the current design, the major upgrades will be internal, particularly with the new processor.
