Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to feature a design and dimensions akin to the iPhone 14, according to recent rumors. The tech giant is developing its fourth iteration of the SE series, which is expected to integrate Apple Intelligence.
Macotakara, a Japanese Apple blog, has shared several images of dummy units for the iPhone SE 4, revealing a design similar to the iPhone 14, with measurements of 146.7mm x 71.5mm x 7.8mm. Known for its accurate leaks, the blog provides insights into what to expect from upcoming iPhone models.
The dummy units indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will have a single rear camera and a mute switch instead of an action button, while also supporting Face ID for unlocking the device. Additionally, the design will be compatible with existing iPhone 14 cases, though the camera arrangement differs, with the iPhone 14 featuring a dual camera setup.
While there have been rumors of a larger version of the iPhone SE 4, similar to the iPhone 14 Plus, this option appears unlikely. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also confirmed that the iPhone SE 4 will adopt a similar design to the iPhone 14, featuring an edge-to-edge screen with a larger 6.1-inch OLED display.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to debut as Apple’s first-ever 5G modem early next year.
