The highly anticipated film Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, has been delayed. Initially slated for a Christmas 2025 debut, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed film will now hit theaters on March 20, 2026, according to reports.

Sources close to the production revealed that the delay was intended to capitalize on the extended holiday season, which includes Ramazan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa in India.

Love & War was officially announced in January 2024, with a poster featuring the signatures of the lead actors. The film, described as an epic saga, has been mounted on a large budget and is considered a ‘legacy’ project for all involved. It promises to be a visual spectacle filled with intense romance, drama, and action.

In the meantime, Alia Bhatt is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Jigra, which will premiere on October 11. The teaser, released on September 8, shows Bhatt in a bold role, embarking on a mission to rescue her brother from prison.
