Lethality of digging at beaches

Lethality of digging at beaches

Two German boys lost their lives after being buried in the sand while digging at the beach in Denmark last month.

But this is not the first case of death that occurred as a result of the sand hole collapse. There have been warnings against digging at the beaches before.

In February, a girl aged 7, lost her life while digging at a beach in Florida.

Also, these incidents are not limited to this age. In July, a 16-year-old was rescued from a sand hole collapse.

According to researchers, statistically, sand burial suffocation is more lethal than shark attacks. However, as per reports, the former receives less attention.

It should also be noted that saving a person from a sand hole collapse is very difficult.
