ISLAMABAD – Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of Pakistan on Wednesday evening or night, Thursday, and Friday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak moist currents from the Arabian Sea are moving into central Pakistan, and a shallow westerly wave is affecting the upper regions.
Under these weather conditions, isolated rain and thunderstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, the Potohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday evening and night and the following two days. Hot and humid weather is likely in other parts of the country.
Islamabad’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 39 and 41 °C on Thursday and 38 and 40 °C on Friday.
