Gold rates in Pakistan experienced a decline on Thursday after reaching a record high, influenced by adjustments in the market following the federal budget for 2024-25.
According to details, the price of gold dropped by Rs1,200 per tola on June 13, 2024. The updated price for gold is now Rs240,700 per tola, while the price for 10 grams decreased by Rs1,029 to Rs206,361.

It is mentioned that the reduction in buyers’ purchasing power led to gold being priced Rs. 1,500 below its actual cost. Previously, the association had discounted gold by as much as Rs. 4,000 per tola.

Internationally, gold prices dropped today following the US Federal Reserve’s prediction of only one interest rate cut this year. As of 10:53 GMT, spot gold had decreased by 0.2 percent to $2,317.38 per ounce, while US gold futures declined by 0.9 percent to $2,333.10.
