Viral Video: A wedding in Punjab’s Kot Addu district took an unexpected turn when the groom received a giant salami, well, not exactly a salami.
It was a 30-foot-long garland made entirely of currency, a massive salami of cash gifted by his uncle during the salami ceremony. This extravagant gift stole the show, making the groom the center of attention on his special day. viral video
The garland, which was several times longer than the groom’s height, had Rs50 and Rs100 notes attached and was worth Rs500,000.
The groom, named Sanaullah, got married in Kot Addu’s Mirpur Phagal area.
Further, At the time of salami, his uncle Sajjad Hijana, gave him the currency garland.
At the wedding, some of the groom’s guests fussed over the garland, while others seized the opportunity to snap selfies with Sanaullah.
