LAHORE: The overbilling matter between Lahore Electric Supply Company(LESCO) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been settled.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) LESCO Shahid Haider and Director FIA Sarfaraz Khan Virk resolved the matter under which LESCO management will phase out the overbilling in 3 months.
Officials said that in three months all pending connections will be made and defective meters will be replaced.
LESCO officials said that FIA will not raid LESCO offices, in case of any complaint a letter will be written to Chief LESCO and all concerns will be answered to FIA within a couple of days.

On the other hand, a light rain shower accompanied by a cool breeze brought relief to the residents of Lahore and its surroundings on Tuesday.
However, the rain also caused disruptions in electricity supply, leaving several parts of the city in darkness.
According to private news channels, various areas of the city, including Mall Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Gulshan Ravi, Ferozepur Road, Link Road, Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, Township, Faisal Town, Garden Town, Awan Town, and Wahdat Road, received rain.
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) reported that several feeders tripped due to the rain, resulting in power outages in various parts of the city.
