Ash Good, aged 38, tragically lost her life in a random stabbing incident at Sydney’s Westfield Bondi Junction Shopping Centre. She worked as an Account Executive at DocuSign and was known locally as an Osteopath. Ash was one of six innocent shoppers who died in the attack, which occurred on a Saturday.
Ash was taken to St Vincent’s hospital in critical condition but passed away shortly after arrival. Her nine-month-old daughter, Harriet, was also injured and is currently receiving care at Sydney Children’s Hospital.
During the attack, Ash showed remarkable bravery by trying to save her daughter. She handed Harriet to strangers to keep her safe, despite being injured herself. Witnesses described her as a brave mother who prioritized her baby’s safety.
Before the incident, Ash had shared cute pictures of Harriet on Instagram. She had taken a break from her job at DocuSign to focus on being a mom and had recently talked about how much she loved being a parent on LinkedIn.
Ash was born in Australia in 1985 and had a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science and a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy. She had worked in various roles in the healthcare industry before joining DocuSign as an Account Executive in May 2022.
