Madeline Soto, a 13-year-old girl from Florida, went missing in February 2024, and her body was tragically found in a wooded area on March 1, 2024.

Stephan Sterns, believed to be dating Madeline’s mother, became a suspect in the case. He claimed to be the last person to see Madeline alive but evidence suggests otherwise.

Video footage showed him returning to his apartment complex with Madeline’s body in his car before disposing of it. Sterns was already in custody on unrelated charges when authorities connected him to Madeline’s disappearance and death.

Stephan Sterns, born on April 25, 1986, in California, spent his childhood in Lake Forest. He worked in real estate and as an independent contractor before moving to Orlando and joining a company called Smart Build Homes. Additionally, he had a job at Walt Disney World.
