Asif Zardari vows to clean sweep general elections

Nawabshah: Former President Asif Zardari has expressed the hope of a clean sweep of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the general elections.

Talking to the media in Nawabshah, Asif Zardari said that the future of PPP is bright and it is hoped that PPP will make a clean sweep.

He said that the People’s Party has given a people-friendly manifesto, except PPP, no party has given a people-friendly manifesto.

On the other hand, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed concern over the shutdown of mobile phone service across the country and demanded to restore it immediately.
Chairman PPP further added that a call cannot be made from a mobile phone even to a landline, only VPNs are working.

Earlier. Former president PPP on Sunday Asif Ali Zardari asserted that only politicians possess a deep understanding of Pakistan’s issues and stressed that democracy is the only solution to the prevailing crises.

Speaking at a public gathering in connection with the 2024 elections, Zardari highlighted that despite facing injustices, the PPP has consistently avoided advocating for confrontation. He affirmed the party’s unwavering commitment to fighting for democracy.

Expressing regret over the absence of an “ideal democracy” in the country, Zardari pointed out that only politicians are truly aware of the genuine issues confronting Pakistan.
