WATCH: A woman horrifyingly swallow sewing needle

WATCH: a woman horrifyingly swallow sewing needle

After getting a sewing needle stuck in her teeth and swallowing it, a woman battled to breathe. The moment doctors removed the little object during emergency surgery is captured on shocking photo.

According to Jam Press, the anonymous woman went to Hospital in Jaipur, India, after complaining of stomach symptoms. Her illness originally confused doctors, who spent days attempting to figure out what was wrong with her.

After being returned home after 10 days of several tests, including sonography, endoscopy, X-rays, and CT scans, a final ultrasound discovered the tiny needle embedded in her liver.

The needle had become lodged in her teeth before she swallowed the little tool, the woman explained.

She was hurried into surgery once the needle was discovered to remove the object that was causing her anguish.

According to Jam Press, the procedure to remove the needle took two hours and utilised keyhole surgery, which requires only a small opening.

The procedure was videotaped, making it the first time a needle- or pin-removal operation was performed utilising telescopic surgery — an operation performed in the abdomen through small incisions with the use of a camera.
