Indian television has a long history of producing dramas and films based on Hollywood films. The Indian entertainment industry has attempted to replicate the original works of others on several occasions, from dramas and films to songs and trailers.

Recently, Indian television attempted to imitate Meray Paas Tum Ho, which was a popular Pakistani television serial.

The Indian drama named ‘Kaamna‘ shared the teaser on Instagram, which will be aired on an Indian TV channel, and it looked like an exact copy of Pakistan’s popular sitcom Mere Paas Tum Ho.

The debate has started on social media that Indian drama industry is inspired by the story of Mere Paas Tum Ho and copied it.
