Musk claims Tesla Cybertruck can also become a boat

Musk claims Tesla Cybertruck can also become a boat
  • Tesla Cybertruck will be able to cross water if necessary, according to the company’s CEO.
  • The electric vehicle is made of stainless steel, and it has a stylish, geometrical shape.
  • Production was scheduled to begin in 2022, however, the launch date has been moved to 2023.

Elon Musk, the wealthy CEO of Tesla, stated that if necessary, the Tesla Cybertruck will be strong and safe enough to function “briefly as a boat.”

The CEO of the company claimed on Twitter that the futuristic truck, which resembles something out of a science fiction film, will be waterproof and able to “cross rivers, lakes, and seas that are not too turbulent.”

Musk cited the need for the vehicle to cross the channel between the SpaceX facility Starbase and South Padre Island as the reason the Cybertruck was constructed in that manner.

Tesla enthusiasts became intrigued right away.

Even the truck was imagined by a user.

In 2019, the Tesla Cybertruck was unveiled. Tesla’s production was scheduled to begin in late 2022, however, the launch date has been moved to the beginning of 2023.

The electric vehicle is made of stainless steel, which is also used in rockets, and it has a stylish, geometrical shape.

According to the Tesla website, the truck outperforms sports cars in terms of performance.

Musk had stated in a tweet earlier this year that the initial manufacturing would be a four-motor model with separate, ultra-fast reaction torque control of each wheel.

Infinix Zero 20 to launch in Pakistan soon

Infinix Zero 20 to launch in Pakistan
  • Infinix Zero 20 is now available on the international market.
  • It has a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution.
  • A 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor are all part of the camera package.

The company’s official social media accounts have verified that Infinix Zero 20 is now prepared for launch in Pakistan in addition to its recent arrival on the international market.

Using the hashtags #InfinixZERO and #Comingsoon, Infinix Pakistan has been teasing the next phone on Twitter.

Although Infinix hasn’t made any specifications explicit in its teasers, the phone’s international debut has given us a good idea of what to expect.

Specs

The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen on the Infinix Zero 20 features a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution.

There is only one memory choice (8 GB/256 GB) and it is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, however, it is unknown how many variations will be offered in Pakistan.

The side-mounted fingerprint sensor serves as the power button.

A 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor are all part of the camera package.

It can capture 2K videos at 30 frames per second. The selfie camera has a unique 60MP sensor and can also record 2K video.

4,500 mAh of battery capacity is supported by 45W wired charging for rapid top-ups. The phone is available in the colors Grey, Gold, and Green.

Pricing & Availability

We anticipate that the Infinix Zero 20 will be a little less expensive in Pakistan given that it costs about $300 on the international market.

This suggests that if the phone is made locally, we should anticipate paying more than Rs. 60,000 for it. If it is imported, the price may easily exceed Rs. 70,000.

There is no information available on a debut date either, however, some rumors indicate that Infinix is preparing an announcement for mid-October.

We anticipate learning formal information in the coming days because the teaser campaign has already been going on for a few days.

The launch date for Infinix is also anticipated to be revealed soon.

Tiktok launches new family pairing feature to ensure child safety

Tiktok family pairing feature
  • TikTok’s Family Pairing function allows parents to monitor activities on their teens’ accounts.
  • Parents can set a daily limit of 40 to 120 minutes for their adolescents to spend on TikTok.
  • TikTok has partnered with some of Pakistan’s most well-known celebrities to produce engaging content.

With its innovative Family Pairing function, which enables parents and teenagers to adjust their safety settings depending on personal needs, TikTok is continuing its efforts toward family safety.

As part of its ongoing commitment to support and care for the safety of young people on the platform, TikTok launched the #FamilyFirst initiative to raise awareness about how parents can use the Family Pairing Feature to monitor activities on their teens’ accounts, including DMs, notifications, watch and download settings.

Family Pairing enables parents to link their TikTok accounts with those of their children and to apply parental controls, such as:

Screen time management

You may set a daily limit of 40 to 120 minutes for your adolescent to spend on TikTok.

Restricted Mode

Restrict the display of material that might not be suitable for all audiences. Parents can assist their teen in setting up Screen Time Management and Restricted Mode even without Family Pairing activated by visiting the app’s Digital Wellbeing controls whenever they like.

Direct Messages

Limit who is allowed to send messages to the connected account or disable it entirely. In order to protect users, TikTok already has a number of messaging policies and controls in place.

For instance, only approved followers are permitted to communicate one another, and photos and videos are not permitted to be exchanged in messages.

Additionally, TikTok automatically disables Direct Messages for users under the age of 16 who join an account.

Control account privacy and security settings

Parents may choose who can like or comment on their teen’s videos, whether their account is secret or public, and whether others can suggest their account.

Parents can also determine whether their adolescent has access to search for noises, hashtags, or other types of content.

With a particular focus on its younger users, between the ages of 13 and 19, TikTok has partnered with some of Pakistan’s most well-known celebrities and producers who will be producing engaging content to highlight TikTok’s efforts around family safety.

TikTok and other social media platforms are giving families new ways to share their stories, exhibit their creativity, and support their local communities.

They frequently focus on creating a safe experience while learning how to navigate the digital environment together at the same time.

TikTok has improved and enhanced its teams, policies, procedures, and instructional tools over the past year with families in mind.

The platform has strengthened the tools in its Safety Center, which is also available in Urdu, increased the trust and safety teams’ capabilities, and worked with top online safety groups.

By launching Family Pairing, which expands the platform’s collection of safety tools and completes its efforts to give users greater access to product features when they reach significant milestones for digital literacy, TikTok strengthened its commitment to developing for the safety of our users.

WhatsApp Users can now exit group without anyone knowing

  • WhatsApp has allowed their users to leave any group discussion without letting the other group members know.
  • A notification will be sent to the group administrator whenever a user departs the group.
  • This feature can be useful for people who are part of unwanted large groups.

WhatsApp introduced another feature for its users that allows them to leave any group discussion without letting the other group members know.

The member will be able to silently exit any group chat thanks to this feature. In the previous setup a message was displayed in the group every time a participant left.

All WhatsApp users can use the function. This feature can be useful for people who are a part of huge groups that could be overwhelming. Or are added to any certain group without their consent.

Talking about the new updates, Mark Zuckerberg, “New privacy features coming to WhatsApp: exit group chats without notifying everyone, control who can see when you’re online, and prevent screenshots on view once messages. We’ll keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversations.”

How does one exit a group chat?

  • Open the group that you want to leave.
  • Tap the subject of the group.
  • Select “Exit group.”

However, a notification will be sent to the group administrator whenever any user departs the group. One must be aware that other participants can come to know of you leaving when they review the details of the group conversation.

Meta launches new tool that turns texts into video

Meta launches tool that generates videos from text
  • Zuckerberg’s Meta has developed an AI that can produce videos using straightforward language instructions.
  • Make-A-Video system “understands motion in the actual environment and applies it to traditional text-to-image generation”.
  • The tech behemoth has not yet specified when the tool would be accessible to the general public.

According to Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the company has developed an AI that can produce videos using straightforward language instructions. This AI has been used to establish a new tool for producing art.

The CEO described the tool’s outcomes as “quite outstanding” and highly impressive.

The artificial intelligence in the Make-A-Video system “understands motion in the actual environment and applies it to traditional text-to-image generation,” using already-existing images.

In a statement, Zuckerberg added, “You give it a text description, and it makes a movie for you.”

In the past, it has been particularly challenging to create video since the AI must not only create pixels but also anticipate how they will change over time.

By including “unsupervised learning” as a feature, this issue is resolved.

The tech behemoth has not yet specified when the tool would be accessible to the general public or whether there will be requirements such as joining up for the system or subscribing.

The business did promise to shortly release demos.

There are always moral quandaries surrounding AI given the potential for its abuse in disinformation and deep fakes.

Meta proposed adding a watermark to the videos produced by Make-A-Video as a fix.

To make sure that each step of release is safe and deliberate, Meta added, “for the time being we will continue to evaluate, test, and try Make-A-Video.”

NASA, SpaceX examining ways to increase Hubble telescope orbit

NASA SpaceX
  • Elon Musk’s SpaceX intends to fund research with NASA to increase the Hubble Space Telescope’s orbital altitude.
  • The six-month study will be completely funded by SpaceX.
  • It will look at whether SpaceX’s Dragon capsule has to be upgraded to raise the telescope’s orbit.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX intends to fund research with NASA to look into how to utilize the Dragon spacecraft to increase the Hubble Space Telescope’s orbital altitude, which would increase the telescope’s useful life, according to agency officials.

In a last-minute press conference, NASA’s science head Thomas Zurbuchen assured reporters that the six-month study will be completely funded by SpaceX, whose Crew Dragon spacecraft transports humans and supplies to and from the International Space Station on behalf of NASA.

SpaceX approached NASA a few months ago with the suggestion for a study on how a commercial crew could aid in boosting our Hubble spacecraft into a higher orbit, extending its observational lifetime.

Since its debut in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope has served as a workhorse cosmic observatory for astronomers all over the world, providing stunning star pictures and facilitating significant discoveries like the age of the universe and the moons of Pluto.

In order to “help establish whether it would be viable to safely rendezvous, dock, and relocate the telescope into a more stable orbit,” NASA stated teams will gather data.

Throughout the US shuttle program in the early 2000s, Hubble had maintenance on multiple occasions.

Since the end of that program in 2011, astronomers have investigated a number of options for maintaining the ageing but still functional telescope. There are no developed plans.

The study will look at whether SpaceX’s Dragon capsule has to be upgraded to dock with and raise the telescope’s orbit as well as whether astronauts need to be on board for a future flight, among other things.

During the press conference, Jessica Jensen, vice president of customer operations at SpaceX, remarked, “At this moment, everything is on the table.”

Officials from NASA highlighted that the deal with SpaceX is exclusively for a SpaceX-funded study and does not indicate future plans for the agency to maintain the telescope.

Infinix launches Note 12i 2022 with latest specs

Infinix launches Note 12i
  • Infinix Note 12i has been relaunched with a redesigned look and improved specifications.
  • A 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution replaces the earlier model’s 6.82-inch IPS LCD.
  • New memory configurations are available, including 4 GB/64 GB and 6 GB/128 GB.

Despite the fact that the Note 12i’s original release was in the same year, Infinix has released a 2022 edition of the device.

The Note 12i 2022 features a redesigned look, improved screen specifications, and more RAM choices. It is still priced the same as the original.

A redesign of the primary camera has been made. It now rests on a sizable, polished camera island, and the back panel is finished with texturing.

A 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution has replaced the earlier model’s 6.82-inch IPS LCD. Since the refresh rate is not specified, it is fair to presume that it is 60Hz.

The fingerprint reader is now offset.

There are new memory configurations available, including 4 GB/64 GB and 6 GB/128 GB, but the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC remains unaltered.

A microSD card and virtual RAM expansion are also ways to increase storage and RAM, respectively.

The 5,000 mAh battery is still present, but for speedy top-ups, the 18W fast charging has been upgraded to 33W.

A 50MP primary camera sensor, a 2MP depth lens, and a QVGA unit are all located on the back of the device.

We assume that new model is also capable of recording 1080p video because the first model was. An 8MP camera is used for taking selfies.

$150 will be the starting price for the Infinix Note 12i 2022, which will come in Blue, Black, and White colour variants.

Samsung phones still exploding?

Samsung phones exploding
  • Samsung phones have a bad reputation for exploding batteries.
  • A YouTuber discovered that several of his Samsung devices had suddenly enlarged batteries.
  • This creates a gas that eventually breaks through and destroys the battery entirely.

Exploding smartphones brought on by dead batteries are not uncommon.

The most notorious device in this regard was perhaps Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which also led to new safety regulations for critical environments like aeroplanes.

According to tech YouTuber MrWhoseTheBoss, Samsung’s bad reputation for exploding cellphones seems to be here to stay.

Arun Maini, a YouTuber, discovered that the batteries in several Samsung devices he owned had suddenly enlarged.

Some of them had even burst into flames from the back, leaving the phone entirely burned.

Both new and old phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10, and others, experienced this.

The important thing, in this case, was that only Samsung phones had burst, with no indication that phones from other brands had been harmed.

These phones were only seldom used for battery testing, reviews, and unboxing videos.

The phones sat idle on shelves for the remainder of the period, with their screens off.

Approaching Samsung

When the YouTuber informed Samsung of his discoveries, the corporation demanded that he deliver it every broken phone.

After that, Maini made numerous attempts to contact Samsung but was always met with the response, “we will get back to you when we get new updates.”

This went on for several weeks.

Maini contacted other tech-related YouTubers who also own a variety of cellphones. The fact that numerous of their Samsung phones had exploded was confirmed.

In comparison to other brands, Samsung phones had this issue far more frequently.

JerryRigEverything on YouTube outlined the underlying cause of this problem.

According to his idea, while the phone is not in use, the electrolyte substance in the battery slowly evaporates over time.

As a result, a gas is produced, creating swelling that eventually breaks through and destroys the battery entirely.

Even though it seems like the risk mainly applies to recently inactive phones, the situation is nevertheless concerning.

Therefore, we advise checking on any old Samsung phones you may have laying around.

Twitter competes TikTok with vertical videos

Twitter competes TikTok
  • Twitter has revealed in a brand-new blog post that it will enhance the “immersiveness” of its video player.
  • Tapping a video will make it full screen and allow you to scroll through it to view more.
  • Twitter is also developing the coveted tweet edit button.

Over time, practically every other social app has been inspired by TikTok’s dominance of the social media market.

Reels were introduced by Instagram and Facebook, Shorts were introduced on YouTube’s platform, and now Twitter is joining the game with its own vertical video style.

The social media behemoth has revealed in a brand-new blog post that it will enhance the “immersiveness” of its video player.

Similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels, tapping a video will now make it full screen and allow you to scroll through it to view more.

The Explore page on Twitter will also get a video carousel that displays “some of the most popular videos being shared on Twitter.” This should increase everyone’s access to these vertical videos.

The blog post states that videos on the Explore tab are “already available to individuals in select countries” for Android and iOS users and that vertical videos will begin to appear in the Twitter app for iOS in the coming days.

As a result, Pakistan should also be able to purchase it this month.

For Instagram and YouTube, Reels and YouTube Shorts have been fairly successful, but it’s unclear how Twitter will fare.

Twitter has never prioritized text-based submissions, in contrast to its competitors, thus it is uncertain how vertical videos would do on the bird app.

In related news, Twitter is finally developing the coveted tweet edit button. The bad news is that it will initially only be accessible to Twitter Blue subscribers who have paid for it.

There isn’t yet confirmation that it will eventually be accessible to everyone, although that possibility exists.

Many users should benefit from the feature as it should prevent embarrassing typos and other errors in tweets. We’ll update you when new Twitter features become available.

Elon Musk launches Tesla Humanoid Robot

Elon Musk launches Tesla Humanoid Robot
  • Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has unveiled a prototype of the Optimus humanoid robot.
  • Production may begin as early as next year, and future uses could include cooking, gardening, and other things.
  • According to reports, the robot was ready in just six months.

The future depicted in the film I, Robot is getting closer to us.

According to Tesla’s latest robot demonstration, we will soon have robots helping us with daily duties, at least in factories before our homes.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has unveiled a prototype of the Optimus humanoid robot. With its autopilot driver assistance system available on its cars, Tesla provides some of its AI software and sensors.

It was also the first time Optimus operated without a tether on stage, according to Musk, who claims that it will be able to accomplish far more than what was demonstrated live.

The CEO continued, “Optimus is built for mass manufacturing to be created in millions, which makes it different from previous amazing humanoid robots.”

The robot entered the stage first and performed the “raise the roof” dance motion. A few videos showing Optimus performing additional jobs, like as picking up boxes, are also provided by the company.

Later, the Tesla team unveiled a new prototype of Optimus that was “quite near to production,” with its body fully constructed but not yet fully functional.

Although it could wave to the crowd, Musk claimed that it wasn’t yet ready to walk. According to reports, the robot was ready in just six months.

It boasts Wi-Fi and LTE connection, a 2.3kWh battery pack, and a Tesla SoC. The presentation concentrated on how the robot moved its hands and joints, demonstrating how it analysed data for each joint.

In the future, this should enable the robot to pick up tiny parts with a precise grip.

According to Musk, production may begin as early as next year, and future uses could include cooking, gardening, and other things.

According to him, the assembly line and production operations of the corporation would undergo a revolution. Its pricing could be “likely less than $20,000.”
